Exciting times in GPU technology. I must admit however I'm disappointed they stuck with 12GB of VRAM. I was hoping they'd go with the previous trend of tripling the standard gaming cards memory, which would have made this thing a very viable option for GPU rendering at 24GB.
For now it leaves the top-shelf workstation cards as the only real option, which unfortunately are about 3 times the price.
GPU rendering of final frames remains elusive then for ArchViz data sets. Perhaps I need to look into RedShift more closely...
