I was commissioned to create the preroll for all Tropfest entries. The brief was to create a recognisable branding for Tropfest in order to distinguish Tropfest film entrants. This branding is applied to all films as part of the submission process so everyone knows this film was (once upon a time) entered in Tropfest.
I had a lot of fun with this, working through about a dozen variations. Here's a few of my favourites. All created in After Effects.
