Allégresse - 2025

I haven't released a new piece of classical music since isolation in 2020, which I composed and recorded at the start of the pandemic (which had to be done in my living room, for obvious reasons). It's not to say I haven't been writing and playing, but the attention has been elsewhere.

I wrote this piece and devoted it to someone I was in love with at the time - which was about 3 years ago. I was always a hopeless romantic... The relationship didn't last, but the music did, and the part of me that loves is not so easily destroyed or forgotten. It is better to live with a broken heart, than a closed one.
